This January, February and March, leave your winter blahs at home and join some of the city and country’s best chefs at  CHEFS FOR CHANGE, five phenomenal nights of food and conviviality that’ll warm even the coldest of toes.

Each night features a unique culinary collaboration by up to eight different chefs from Toronto and across Canada.
Dinners happen at Propeller Coffee Roastery’s stunning venue at Bloor and Lansdowne.

Net profits from Chefs for Change will help Community Food Centres Canada to support vibrant, food-focused organizations that bring people in low-income communities together to grow, cook, share, and advocate for
healthy food for all.

About Community Food Centres Canada

Net profits raised from Chefs for Change will support the work of Community Food Centres Canada in building healthy food access and empowering food programs in low-income communities across Canada, and driving a growing movement of individuals and organizations including 8 Community Food Centres and 100 Good Food Organizations  working towards a fair and equitable food system where everyone has access to healthy food.

CFCC offers a multidimensional approach including healthy drop-in meals and affordable produce markets, community gardens and kitchens, and education and peer advocacy programs offered under one roof. Working with farmers, chefs, restaurateurs, home cooks, backyard gardeners, health professionals, market-goers, teachers and the media, as well as sponsors and funders, CFCC is proving that good food can build community, enhance physical and mental health, nurture the planet and be a transformative force in low-income communities.

Along with its sister event, Restaurants for Change, Chefs for Change is calling Canadians to eat with a purpose, convening chefs in unique collaborative settings to create delicious food and opportunities for conversation about how to address the issues facing our food system.

To find out more about how CFCC is bringing people together to grow, cook, share, and advocate for good food for all, read our 2015 Annual Report or visit cfccanada.ca.
